THE HOUSE of Hi-analogic KID
48 Grand Street now becomes the new home to Hi-analogicKID, an expansive artistic construct originating in Tokyo in the mid-2000s. hi-analogicKID operates as a hybrid figure, where analog sensibility and digital logic converge, unfolding across a wide range of media—video, photography, digital poetry, sound, installation, objects, drawing, and collage among other mediums. Fernando Eguchi assumes the role of custodian and mediator of Hi-analogicKID. Positioned between the imaginary and the material, Eguchi serves not as an author in the traditional sense but as an instrument through which the character is articulated and sustained. Together, this relationship foregrounds an ongoing inquiry into modes of connection, communication, and expression.
Fernando Eguchi is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1979, Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil. Currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
